2 Weeks until Holiday…

Summer Body - getting in shape for holiday - LEP Fitness - fitness blog

I’m so excited! This time in 2 weeks i’ll be chilling in Sorento (Italy). For the past 8 or so weeks i’ve been trying my hardest to get in good shape, so I feel confident on the beach. Call me Mr Vain, but this holiday prep has been more than just looking good. It’s been a project…

Holiday Project…

A couple of months ago I decided that it would be cool to do a blog on the routine that i’m using to get in shape this summer. This will be posted on my site after my holiday so stay tuned. I’ll be sharing my exact workout routine, nutritional strategy and i’ll also be sharing some educational knowledge bombs!

2 Brutal Weeks of training…

The last 2 weeks have been pretty hellish to be honest, i’m training everyday, i’m in a chloric deficit and i’m absolutely exhausted! My routine is:

  • Monday : upper body & abs + 20km bike ride
  • Tuesday : lower body & abs + 20km bike ride
  • Wednesday : abs + 50km bike ride
  • Thursday : upper body & abs + 20km bike ride
  • Friday : lower body & abs + 20km bike ride
  • Saturday : upper body & abs + 20km bike ride
  • Sunday : abs + 50km bike ride

I’ll be sharing what’s in each workout in a couple of weeks. As you can see i’m training abs and cycling everyday. As much as i’m shattered i’m really enjoying the challenge and I know it’s only short term so I can cope.

Things starting to pay off…

I’m very happy with where i’m at, week by week i’ve gotten leaner and for the most part of prep I haven’t felt deprived as i’ve fitted all types of foods into my daily macros. Last week I had cheesecake and ice cream! The devils in the dose. Calories in – Calories out. No rubbish food now though, strict plan and it’s time to dial in even further for the final push.

Anyhow, thanks for reading. It’s sunny in Sheffield so I’m about to put my feet up outside and read my book (hopefully all day!). I hope you have a great weekend wherever you are in the world.

Speak soon,

Nick
