The Hardest Fat Burning Workout Ever! Can You hack it?

So this image just about sums up how brutal today’s workout was…
Probably the hardest workout i’ve done this year! Man! i’m still seeing stars flying around my head, so apologies in advance if my spelling gets a bit skew whiff! Today’s focus was to annihilate as much body fat as possible, as me and my good buddy Ryan ate one too many treats last night (it happens!). The aim was to work our butts of for 60 minutes (it actually ended up being 2hrs! bye bye to the full bag of Maltese’s I polished off last night!). We selected compound exercises because they recruit multiple muscle groups, you get more bang for your buck and burn more overall calories. Winner winner chicken dinner! Here’s the workout in full, give it a blast if your man (or women!) enough…
Warm up: foam rolling (5-10 minutes)
Round 1:
- Deadlifts x 6-10 reps
- Flat DB press x 6-10 reps
- Barbell lunges x 20 reps
- Wide pull ups x 6-10 reps
Complete each exercise one after the other (no rest), then once you’ve completed all the exercise rest for 60-120s. Repeat this round 3x
Round 2:
- Squats x 6-10 reps
- Push ups x 15 reps
- Snatch x 6-10 reps
Complete each exercise one after the other (no rest), then once you’ve completed all the exercise rest for 60-120s. Repeat this round 3x
Round 3:
- Burpees x 20 reps
- Battle ropes x 100 reps
- Tyre flips x 20 reps
Complete each exercise one after the other (no rest), then once you’ve completed all the exercise rest for 60-120s. Repeat this round 3x
30 Sets in total. If you can walk out of the gym without swaying, without feeling sick and without needing a 3hr sleep…
